Refund Policy

This refund policy explains how FinsmartHub handles refunds for digital courses, applications, and service work. Requests should be sent as soon as possible after the issue is identified.

Digital courses

You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have completed less than 30% of the course content and have not received a completion certificate for that course.

Refunds are generally not available once substantial course content has been consumed, downloadable materials have been heavily used, or the course has been completed.

Services and project work

Discovery calls, strategy sessions already delivered, and work already completed are non-refundable. For project-based services, deposits may be refundable only where work has not started or where FinsmartHub is unable to begin the agreed scope.

If a project is cancelled after work has begun, any refund will be limited to the unearned portion of the fee after deducting time, resources, and completed deliverables.

Accelerator or application fees

If an application fee or cohort reservation fee is charged, it may be refunded where the applicant is not accepted or where FinsmartHub cancels the cohort before delivery starts. Once a seat is confirmed and programme preparation has begun, refunds may be limited.

How to request a refund

Email hello@finsmarthub.africa with your full name, order number, date of purchase, and reason for the request. Approved refunds are usually returned to the original payment method within a reasonable processing period, subject to payment provider timelines.
