Veronica Okola

Founder & Lead Trainer, FinsmartHub

Veronica Okola is a business growth strategist, digital skills trainer certified by the International Labour Organization (ILO), and financial literacy expert with over a decade of hands-on experience spanning banking, SME development, and capacity building across East Africa.
Her academic foundation is a Bachelor of Commerce from the Technical University of Kenya, built upon through global leadership programmes including the Aspire Leaders Program by Harvard Business School faculty and the YALI RLC East Africa fellowship. She is also a Lean Six Sigma practitioner and a Jim Leech Mastercard Foundation Fellow.

Her career in Kenya’s financial sector — working directly with businesses navigating growth and access to capital — deepened her understanding of what holds entrepreneurs back. That experience shaped a clear conviction: that world-class business training should not be a privilege reserved for a few. She founded FinsmartHub to change that — building practical, no-jargon skills programmes designed for every Kenyan entrepreneur, regardless of background, location, or tech experience.
She is currently an MBA Candidate at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), bringing both academic rigour and real-world insight to everything FinsmartHub delivers.
